Season 3
The Wire season 3 was debuted on 9-19-2004 and the opening episode from series was entitled ‘Time After Time’. Series continues with its previous schedule as such dealing with the criminals through the eyes of police investigators. Stringer Bell is emerging as the unofficial leader of the Barksdale drug imperium. Narcotics detective James McNulty allows his personal demons to catch up with him. Season three was again consisted of 12 episodes and it follows a burgeoning political-reform movement in Baltimore, with the ongoing drug investigation becoming a volatile campaign tool. As the season goes on, the storylines and plot became more complicated, season comes to an end on 12-19-2004 and the season finale was entitled ‘Mission Accomplished’. On this season finale, McNulty discovers that it’s the right time to re-evaluate his quest of Stringer Bell. He also finalizes what to do with his life. Carcetti is planning to run for Mayor and realizes that Gray knows about his plans. Avon is ready to go against Marlo.
